STANDARD BICYCLE FUNCTIONS
Gears
Your BATRIBIKE is provided with 27 speed Shimano derailleur
gears with twin lever gear changers. To change gear you use the
right handlebar levers for the rear 9 speed and the left handlebar
levers for the front 3 speed (chainwheel).
Gear number 1 is low for hills and rough terrain and gear 27 is high
for normal road use. An indicator window shows the selected gear.
To increase the gear simply push the rear selectors with your
thumb. To decrease the gear squeeze the front most selector lever
with your index finger.
You must be pedalling as you change gears.
