Battery Warranty Terms & Conditions
1. Warranty is void if Warranty La bel is removed or tampered with. **
2. Owner must ensure that the b attery is not left in a fully discharged state. **
3. Battery must only be charged with the charg er supplied. **
4. Battery must be put o n charge and charged fully at least once per calendar
month, even if the bike is not used. **
5. In the unlikely event of a ba ttery failure, the battery must be returned to
Batribike, via your Batribike dealer for testing. If upon testing it is found
that the above conditions have not been met the n the warranty will not
apply and the cost of replacement and carriage will be payable by the
Customer. If the battery is found to be
defective and the warranty conditions
have been met, then a replacement will
be provided and the remaining term of the
original warranty will apply. (The
replacement may be a new or refurbished
battery at the discretion of Ba tribike.)
** Important Notice
Inside our batteries there is a data reco rder built in to the battery management
system (BMS). This data reco rder, when coupled to our computer software
system, records usage information, including the following :-
a) The total number of times the battery has been charged.
b) The maximum interval between charges (Days).
c) The number of days since the l ast charge.
This information will be used when deciding the validity of a warranty claim.
Benefits of Battery Warranty Registration
In addition to the above Battery Warra nty Terms, if you register your battery
warranty with Promovec within 7 days of purchase, there wi ll be a guarantee of
at least 70% Battery Capacity remaining at the end of the three year warranty
period. If the Warranty is not registered then a limit of 800 charge cycles will
apply.
Extended Battery Warranty (5 Years)
In addition, and for a one off fee payable within 90 days of initial bike purchase,
the Battery Warranty can be exten ded to 5 years with at least 70% Battery
Capacity remaining.
