Function Description

In Manual Mode, the laser lines are locked in position and do not self-level. This mode is ideal for projecting lines at custom angles or for tasks where a fixed, non-level reference is required. To operate in manual mode, the Self-Leveling Switch should remain in the "OFF" position. The Laser Button is then used to turn the laser on and select the desired line pattern: a cross-hair (360° level and 360° plumb), a 360° horizontal line, or a 360° vertical line. The Leveling Indicator will illuminate red in this mode, signaling that the device is not self-leveling. Users can aim and tilt the level as needed to achieve the desired projection. Once the task is complete, both the Laser Button and Self-Leveling Switch should be turned off.

In Self-Leveling Mode, the device automatically adjusts itself to project perfectly level and plumb lines within a specified range. This mode is particularly useful for tasks requiring high accuracy, such as installing cabinets, hanging pictures, or laying tiles. To activate self-leveling, the Self-Leveling Switch is turned to the "ON" position. The level will self-level within approximately 5 seconds, and the Leveling Indicator will illuminate green, confirming that it is ready for use. If the level is placed on a surface that is too far out of alignment, the Leveling Indicator will illuminate red, and the laser line(s) will blink, indicating that the device cannot self-level. In such cases, the user must move the level horizontally until the Leveling Indicator turns green. Similar to manual mode, the Laser Button is used to select the desired line pattern: cross-hair, 360° horizontal, or 360° vertical. While in self-leveling mode, tilting the level up and down may cause it to go out of alignment, requiring horizontal adjustment until the green indicator reappears.

The laser level is powered by batteries, ensuring portability and ease of use in various locations. It is designed for indoor use, providing reliable performance in controlled environments.
