Intended use
ManuTrain is a medical device. It is a 
support 
for the relief and stabilization of 
the wrist. 
Indications
• Chronic, post-traumatic or post-
operative irritation 
• Distortions (wrist injuries e. g. sprains) 
• Osteoarthritis (joint wear) 
• Instability, e. g. radioulnar subluxation 
• Tendovaginitis (tenosynovitis) 
• (Relapse) prevention
Risks of using this product 
Please closely observe the specifica-
tions in these instructions for use and 
the instructions given by the specialist.
The benefits of this product are felt 
particularly during physical activity.
• Remove the support during longer 
periods of rest. 
• Once you have been prescribed the 
ManuTrain, only use it according to 
your indication and any additional 
instructions given by a medical 
specialist*. Please consult a specialist 
or your doctor first if you want to use 
it together with other products. Do not 
modify the product yourself in any way; 
otherwise it may not help as expected 
or it may be harmful to your health. In 
these cases, any warranty or liability 
claims will be excluded.
• Avoid contact with ointments, lotions, 
or substances containing grease or 
acids. 
• Any aids applied externally to the body 
may, if tightened excessively, lead to 
local pressure points or, in rare cases, 
constrict the underlying blood vessels 
or nerves. Avoid fastening the strap too 
tight. 
• If you notice any changes or an 
increase in symptoms while wearing 
the product, stop any further use and 
contact your doctor. 
Contraindications
No clinically significant adverse reac-
tions have been reported to date. If you 
have any of the following conditions, 
the product should only be used after 
consultation with your physician:
• Skin disorders / injuries in the relevant 
part of the body, particularly if 
inflammation is present. Likewise, any 
raised scars with swelling, redness and 
excessive heat build-up.
• Impaired sensation and circulatory 
disorders of the hand.
• Impaired lymph drainage and soft 
tissue swellings of uncertain origin 
including those located away from the 
fitted aid.
Application instructions
Putting on the ManuTrain
As an alternative to the following 
description, a donning video is available 
to you on the product details page. To 
access this, scan the QR code next to 
Figure 7 and follow the instructions in 
the video 
.
• Pull the support over the wrist until 
the joint is enclosed by the knit fabric 
and pad without any pressure being 
exerted on it. 
• The support fits correctly when the 
bony protrusion on the outside of the 
wrist is enclosed by the pad’s ring-
shaped cutout

• Fasten the narrow side of the strap 
(light blue velour) on the light blue 
Velcro area (if not already pre-
fastened)

. For optimum stabilization, 
move your wrist towards the back of 
your hand. 
• Guide the strap to in the direction of 
your little finger

, then over the palm 
of your hand between the thumb and 
index finger

 and back to the wrist

. Then wrap the strap around the 
wrist and fasten it to the wide strap

• Additionally, you can use the markings 
on the support to guide you (grey lines). 
• For increased stabilization, loosen the 
strap and re-tighten it applying more 
tension. 
Alternative
• For more gentle treatment, separate 
the strap halves by separating the 
Velcro areas from one another (see 
Figures 
I

). Now fasten the Velcro 
area onto the identical arrow-shaped 
area on your support

and guide 
the strap in the direction of the arrow 
(towards the outside of your wrist) 
around the wrist

• In order to reconnect the strap halves, 
place both parts with the Velcro area 
facing upwards and outwards (see full

Removing the ManuTrain
• Loosen the Velcro fastening and attach 
the end of the strap onto the strap’s 
Velcro to avoid damage to the support. 
Then loosen the strap and take o the 
support.  
Make sure not to turn the support 
inside-out.
Cleaning instructions
Please use mild detergent and a lingerie 
bag. Never expose the product to direct 
heat / cold. Also observe the instructions 
on the sewn-in label on the upper edge 
of your product. Regular care guar-
antees optimum eectiveness of the 
product.
For products with Velcro® straps: 
Remove the straps if possible, or fasten 
them securely at the place provided for 
this purpose.

This product is intended for your 
treatment only.
Warranty
The statutory regulations of the country 
of purchase apply. Please first contact 
the retailer from whom you obtained 
the product directly in the event of a 
potential claim under the warranty. 
The product must be cleaned before 
submitting it in case of warranty claims. 
Warranty may be limited or excluded if 
the instructions on how to handle and 
care for the ManuTrain have not been 
observed.  
Warranty is excluded if:
• The product was not used according to 
the indication
• The instructions given by the specialist 
were not observed
• The product was modified arbitrarily
Duty to report 
Due to regional legal regulations, you 
are required to immediately report any 
serious incident involving the use of this 
medical device to both the manufac-
turer and the responsible authority. Our 
contact details can be found on the back 
of this brochure.
Disposal
Once you have finished using the prod-
uct, please dispose of it according to 
local specifications.
