3. Operating the Boiler
3.1 OPERATING THE BOILER
1. Ensure that the electricity and gas supplies are turned on. Check that the
central heating pressure is between 0.5 and 1.0 bar (3 Fig. 1).
2. Turn the On/Off/Reset selector switch either anti-clockwise from the
off position (Fig. 2) to both central heating and domestic hot water or
clockwise to domestic hot water only.
3. In either position the green power on indicator (
) will illuminate (10
Fig. 1).
4. Position (i) In this position the boiler will provide central heating and
domestic hot water according to demand (Fig. 3). Priority is given to
domestic hot water. The central heating/hot water neon (
) will illumi-
nate (12 Fig. 1). Neons 4 to 9 will illuminate as the temperature rises.
5. Position (ii) In this position hot water will be heated as demanded (Fig.
4). The hot water neon (
) will illuminate (11 Fig. 1).
6. The boiler will light automatically on demand.
7. The orange burner on neon ( ) will illuminate when the boiler is ope-
rating and the main burner is on (13 Fig. 1).
IMPORTANT: When the selector switch is in the ‘0’ (Off) posi-
tion the electrical supply to the boiler is isolated. The boiler will
not operate and the integral timer (if fitted) will require resetting
once the selector switch is set to either Position (i) or Position
(ii).

3. Mise en service de la chaudière
3.1 MISE EN SERVICE DE LA CHAUDIÈRE
1. Vérifiez que la chaudière est sous tension et que le gaz est ouvert. Véri-
fiez que la pression de l’installation de chauffage central est comprise
entre 0,5 et 1,0 Bar (3 Fig.1).
2. Tournez le sélecteur Marche/Arrêt/Réinitialisation (Fig.2) vers la
gauche sur la position de chauffage avec production d’eau chaude ou
vers la droite sur la position de production d’eau chaude uniquement.
3. Sur ces deux positions, le voyant vert de mise sous tension (
) sera
allumé. (10 Fig.1).
4. Position (i): lorsque le sélecteur est sur cette position, la chaudière
fournit le chauffage central et l’eau chaude sanitaire suivant le besoin
(Fig.3). L’eau chaude sanitaire est prioritaire. Le voyant chauffage
central/eau chaude (
) est allumé (12 Fig.1). Les voyants de 4 à 9 s’al-
lumeront à mesure que la température augmentera.
5. Position (ii): lorsque le sélecteur est sur cette position, l’eau est
réchauffée comme requis (Fig.4). Le voyant de l’eau chaude (
) est
allumé (11 Fig.1).
6. La chaudière se mettra automatiquement à tourner selon les besoins.
7. Le voyant orange (
) du brûleur s’allume pendant le fonctionnement de
la chaudière et lorsque le brûleur principal est allumé (13 Fig.1).
IMPORTANT : Lorsque le sélecteur est sur ‘0 ’(Arrêt), la chaudière
est hors tension et ne fonctionne donc pas. Le programmateur (s’il est
installé) devra être réinitialisé après avoir placé le sélecteur sur la posi-
tion (i) ou (ii).
