Chapter 5: Navigation Equipment
Read the manuals for all navigation and communication equipment before using these systems.
Depth Finder (If Equipped)

WARNING
• Do NOT use the depth nder as a navigational aid to prevent collision,
grounding, boat damage or personal injury.
• When your boat is moving, submerged objects will NOT be seen until
they are already under your boat.
• Bottom depths may change too quickly to allow time for your boat to react.
• If you suspect shallow water or submerged objects, run your boat at very
slow speeds.
