The Control Module is mounted near the
furnace where the thermostat cable is routed.
You will connect the module to your network
using standard Ethernet cable, or using the
power line Ethernet adapters.
Orient the Control Module so the Furnace/AC
connector is on the side that goes to the
furnace, mounting it “upside down” if needed.
Prepare the thermostat cable for connection
to the Control Module as shown.
Strip about 2 inches of the cable jacket off of
each end. Make sure you do not cut the
insulation on the inner wires.
Strip about ¼ inch of insulation from both
ends of each wire as shown.
The Control Module installed and wired to
your furnace/air conditioner.
Do not plug in the Control Module power or
Internet yet. This will be done in step 4.
