      If the door of your BD Refrigerator won't lock, first ensure that the door lock key switch is in the on “-” position. Also, check if the magnetic door lock is properly aligned with the strike plate. If not, align the lock/door to match the strike plate. Verify that the magnetic lock is receiving power and that the MedStation is not unlocking the door (the refrigerator display will show an unlocked icon if it is). If these steps don't resolve the issue, trace the voltage to the lock using the schematic and replace the lock if necessary.

      If the bin of your BD Refrigerator won't open, first ensure that the signal to unlock the bin was sent from the MedStation. If the signal was sent but the bin still doesn't open, check the Ethernet connections and try again. Also, trace the voltage from the solenoid using the schematic. Keep in mind that solenoids will not activate when the system is on battery power.

If the issue persists, the latch might be broken, requiring you to replace the bin module.
