8. Basic sengs:
Note: Firmly touching the top of the housing will switch on the backlight.
Aer the "SNOOZE/SLEEP" buon is released, it switches o again aer 5
seconds. Please note that the base staon does not respond to 2 buons at
the same me. It is therefore advisable to press only one buon.
Press and hold the "SET/HISTORY" buon for about 3 seconds to congure the
basic sengs. With the "UP" and "DOWN" buons, you can change the values
accordingly.
By briey pressing the "SET/HISTORY" buon in the me sengs, you can conrm
entry and proceed to the next opon. In this way, you can change and customise
the following sengs in the sequence menoned below:
• Year
• Month
• Day
• Language seng - To set the day on the display. The following
codes can be congured and selected using the "UP" and "DOWN"
buons: GE (German), DA (Danish), ES (Spanish), NE (Dutch), FR
(French), IT (Italian), EN (English)
• 12 or 24 hour display
• Hour
• Minute
• Time zone - Note: If you set the me zone, for example, to + 01
and the weather staon is actuated using the DCF-signal, then the
clock displays one hour later than the DCF-signal.
• Weather forecast - The weather staon calculates a weather
forecast based on changes in the air pressure. Since data regard-
ing changes in air pressure is not available when the device is
switched on for the rst me, the weather forecast at this me is
incidental. The weather staon will be able to calculate a forecast
only aer a couple of days. To do this, select a forecast using the
"UP" and "DOWN" buons. It is best to select a forecast from the
current weather report.
• Atmospheric pressure - The atmospheric pressure is displayed
in "mb" or "hPa" depending on the seng. You can now set the
display to the barometric air pressure of your locaon. Use the
atmospheric pressure data of your locaon from the Internet or
