partment of the outdoor sensor.
2. Aer start-up, the weather staon aempts to connect with the outdoor
sensor. Make sure that both the devices are with each other's range. The
connecon icon " " starts ashing in the "Outdoor temperature" display
of the main unit. Press the "Sensor" buon to start searching automacally.
If the main unit cannot establish a connecon with the outdoor sensor within 2
minutes, then it stops searching. The connecon icon stops ashing and the tem-

If a connecon cannot be established, then this could be, for example, due to thick
walls, or to a long distance of the sensor from the main unit. In this case, posion

hold the "Sensor" buon on the back of the main unit for 2 seconds unl the con-

6. DCF signal
You can enable (auto) or disable (o) this funcon as the last item in the basic
sengs.
The DCF signal is a me signal which is sent out by one of the most accurate clocks
in the world. It is located near Frankfurt am Main. Under ideal condions, your
weather staon can receive the signal from a distance of up to 1500 km.
If the weather staon has detected the signal, then it displays the current Central Eu-
ropean Time, the date, and the day of the week depending on the basic sengs. The
DCF symbol " " is then shown on the display.
The weather staon scans for a signal and aempts to synchronise every day at
02:00 and 17:00 hrs.
You can start the signal scan automacally by pressing the "RCC" buon in the
baery compartment of the outdoor sensor.
