4. Adding refrigerant oil and refrigerant after extending pipe
connections
If the connection pipe is extended by 10 m beyond its standard
length, you must add 5 ml of refrigerant oil for each additional 5 m of
connection pipe.
Calculating the additional refrigerant (liquid pipe):
(1) Amount of additional refrigerant = additional (extended) length
of liquid pipe* additional amount of refrigerant per meter
(2) Based on the length of the standard pipe, add refrigerant
according to the requirement in the table below. The amount of
additional refrigerant per meter varies with the diameter of the
liquid pipe. See Sheet 2.
