Prior to measurement ensure that the test leads and instrument
are in perfect condition.
The measurement instrument is only to be used for the
specified measurement ranges.
If the operator's safety is no longer ensured the instrument is to
be put out of service and protected against use.
The safety is no longer ensured if the instrument:
• shows obvious damages
• does not carry out the desired measurements
• has been stored for too long under unfavorable conditions
• has been subjected to mechanical stress during transport.
Prior to opening, disconnect the instrument from all mea-
surement circuits.
Any interventions such as fuse replacement may only be
carried out by authorized personnel.
Health and Safety Regulations pertaining to Electrical Systems
must be strictly observed for all tasks.
To ensure correct functioning and long life cycle of the instrument
avoid exposure to direct sunlight.
