The Beko refrigerator is designed for household use and similar indoor environments, such as staff kitchens, farmhouses, hotels, motels, hostels, and catering services. It is not suitable for commercial use or outdoor environments where it could be exposed to rain, snow, sunlight, or wind, which may pose a fire risk. The appliance features a cooler compartment and a freezer compartment, with some models offering a convertible compartment that can switch between cooler, off, and freezer modes.
The control panel, located on the appliance, provides auditory and visual feedback to assist the user. Key functions include:
- Support Service Key: Activates support service for detailed information.
- Cooler Compartment Off (Vacation) Function Key: Activates vacation mode, turning off active cooling in the cooler compartment while other compartments continue to cool.
- Energy Saving (Display Off) Indicator: Automatically enabled, turning off most display symbols when the door is not opened or closed for a period, reactivating upon door opening or key press.
- Cooler Compartment Temperature Setting Key: Allows adjustment of the cooler compartment temperature from 1°C to 8°C.
- Compartment Conversion Key: For models with a convertible compartment, this key switches the section between cooler, off, and freezer modes.

Usage Features
- Food Storage:
- Avoid keeping refrigerator doors open for long periods to prevent temperature rise.
- Do not place hot food or beverages directly into the refrigerator.
- Do not overfill the refrigerator to ensure proper internal airflow.
- Store food in closed containers to prevent odor and taste changes.
- Defrost frozen food in the fresh food compartment to save energy.
- Unripe tropical fruits should not be stored in the refrigerator as it may speed up ripening.
- Onions, garlic, gingers, and other root vegetables should be stored in dark, cold room conditions.
