This document is a user manual for a Beko dishwasher, covering models BDFN... and DFN.... It provides comprehensive instructions for installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Function Description
The Beko dishwasher is designed for domestic use to clean dishes efficiently. It features various washing programs tailored to different soiling levels and dish types, aiming for optimal cleaning and drying performance. The appliance incorporates a water softening system to reduce water hardness, which is crucial for preventing limescale and improving washing results. Detergent and rinse aid dispensers ensure proper chemical distribution during cycles.
Several auxiliary functions are available to enhance washing performance and efficiency:
- Half Load function: Allows operation with a partial load, saving water and power.
- TrayWash Function: Optimized for washing trays, typically used with the Intensive 70°C program.
- Fast+ Function: Shortens the washing cycle duration and reduces water consumption by increasing water pressure.
- Tablet detergent function: Improves drying performance when using all-in-one detergents, adapting to tap water hardness.
- AquaIntense Function: Utilizes a dedicated impeller for heavily soiled dishes, particularly those placed on the right side of the lower basket.
- SteamGloss Function: Provides superior drying performance.
- AquaActive Function: Increases pressure and speed of the lower impeller for stubborn soiling on items like pans and trays.
- Hygiene Intense function: Enhances hygiene by increasing washing and rinsing temperatures and extending these steps, including an additional rinse cycle.
- Deep Wash function: Uses a dedicated impeller for intense cleaning of bottles and pots placed on the right side of the lower basket.
- Super Rinse Function: Improves rinsing performance and helps remove detergent residue.
- EverClean Filter: A self-cleaning microfilter system that extends the cleaning period of the filter from 2 weeks to 3 months, boosting washing performance.
- IonGuard function: Prevents the formation of bad odors by activating at regular intervals when the product is turned off.
- Delay function: Allows users to set a delayed start time for the program, up to 24 hours.
- Child (Key) Lock Function: Prevents accidental changes to program settings or delay times during operation.
- SelfDry Function: Enables automatic door opening at the end of the washing cycle to improve drying.
- Floor illumination: A light projected onto the floor indicates that the machine is in operation.
- Interior Illumination: A lamp inside the machine illuminates when the door is opened (on suitable models).
The dishwasher also includes warning indicators for low salt and low rinse aid levels, water supply cut-off, and water overflow, ensuring timely user intervention or service calls.
