- Program Cancellation: Programs can be cancelled by turning the On/Off/Cancel knob. If cancelled during operation, a refresh program should be run to cool down the drum.
- Steam Function (for applicable models): Uses distilled or condensed water to remove wrinkles and odors. Stains should be removed before using steam programs. Dry cleaning sets or additional materials should not be used.
Maintenance Features:
Regular cleaning is crucial for extending the product's service life and preventing problems.
- Lint Filter: Must be cleaned before or after each drying cycle. The filter can be removed, opened, and cleaned by hand or with a soft cloth. If pores are clogged, wash with warm water and dry completely before reinstalling. The filter housing can be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner.
- Loading Door Inner Surface: Clean the entire inner surface and gasket with a soft damp cloth after each drying process.
- Sensors: The dampness sensors (metal surfaces inside the drum) should be wiped with a soft cloth dampened with vinegar and dried, approximately 4 times a year. Metal tools should not be used.
- Water Tank: Must be drained after each drying cycle. If the tank fills during a program, the dryer will stop, and a warning symbol will flash. The tank should be carefully removed from its drawer/container, emptied, and reinserted. Any lint accumulation in the funnel should be cleaned under running water. If direct water draining is used, the tank does not need to be emptied.
- Condenser (for condenser models): The condenser should be cleaned every 30 drying cycles or once a month.
- Open the loading door and wait for the machine to cool down if it was running.
- Open the kick plate and unlock the two condenser locks.
- Pull out the condenser.
- Clean the condenser by applying pressurized water (e.g., with a shower head) and allow the water to drain completely.
- Reinsert the condenser, fasten the locks, and close the kick plate cover.
- Filter Drawer / Heat Exchanger (for heat pump models): The sponge and filter cloth in the filter drawer should be cleaned regularly, especially when a visible amount of lint is present or the cleaning indicator lights up.
The manual emphasizes several safety warnings:
- General Safety: Children above 8 years old and persons with reduced capabilities can use the dryer with supervision and training. Children under 3 should be kept away. Adjustable feet should not be removed, and the gap between the dryer and the floor should not be reduced.
- Electrical Safety: Installation and repairs must be carried out by authorized service personnel. Never wash the dryer by spraying water. Do not use extension cords or multi-plugs. The dryer must be connected to a grounded outlet with a specified fuse. Unplug the dryer when not in use or during maintenance. Do not touch the plug with wet hands. Damaged power cables must be replaced by authorized service.
- Product Safety / Fire Hazard:
- Never stop the dryer before the program completes. If necessary, remove laundry quickly and lay it out to dissipate heat.
- Inadequately washed clothes may ignite.
- Ensure adequate ventilation to prevent gas accumulation from other fuel-burning devices.
- Do not dry unwashed items or items soiled with oil, acetone, alcohol, fuel oil, kerosene, stain removers, turpentine, paraffin, or paraffin removers unless they have been thoroughly washed in hot water with plenty of detergent.
- Do not dry items made of rubber foam, shower bonnets, water-resistant textiles, or clothing with rubber reinforcement or foam pads.
- Do not dry clothing cleaned with industrial chemicals.
- Check laundry for foreign objects like lighters, matches, coins, or metal parts before loading.
- Underwear with metal reinforcements should not be dried in the dryer, as they can damage the appliance.
- The inside of the dryer can be extremely hot if a program is cancelled during operation; run a refresh program to cool it down.
- Installation Safety: Visually inspect the dryer for defects before installation. Do not install a damaged dryer. Ensure the installation location is stable, level, well-ventilated, and dust-free. Do not cover ventilation grills. Avoid installing the dryer where a lockable, sliding, or hinged door might block the loading door. Ensure the rear wall does not touch other objects. Maintain at least 1 cm distance from other furniture. The dryer operates optimally between +5°C and +35°C.
- Mounting over a Washing Machine: A fixing device must be used, installed by an authorized service agent. The combined weight of the washing machine and dryer (full load) can reach approximately 180 kg, requiring a solid floor with sufficient load-carrying capacity. Washing machines cannot be placed on top of the dryer without a fixing device.
