Usage Features
- Control Panel: Features an On/Off/Programme selection button, Start/Pause button, Time Delay button, and Audio warning level button.
- Programme Selection: Users select programs using a knob, with various indicators for functions like Tank full, Filter cleaning, Child-proof lock, Mute, Volume up, and different dryness levels.
- Time Delay: Allows delaying the program start by 3, 6, or 9 hours. Additional laundry can be added/removed during the delay period.
- Child Lock: Prevents interruption of the program by deactivating all buttons except the On/Off/Programme selection knob. Activated by pressing End Time and Buzzer buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds.
- Adding/Removing Clothes: Laundry can be added or removed during a program by pressing Start/Stand-by, opening the door, and then restarting. However, adding wet laundry after drying starts may affect dryness.
- Warning Indicators: Visual alerts for filter cleaning, full water tank, and heat exchanger cleaning.
- Audible Warning: The dryer emits an audible warning upon program completion, which can be muted.
- Energy Saving Tips: Users are advised to spin laundry at the highest possible speed before drying, sort laundry by type and thickness, avoid opening the loading door unnecessarily, and clean filters regularly.
Maintenance Features
- Lint Filter Cleaning: The lint filter, located inside the loading door, must be cleaned after each drying cycle. It can be cleaned by hand, with a soft cloth, or washed with warm water if a layer builds up on the pores, then dried completely before reinstallation. The lint filter housing can be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner.
- Loading Door & Gasket Cleaning: The inner surface of the loading door and its gasket should be cleaned with a soft damp cloth.
- Sensor Cleaning: Temperature sensors inside the dryer should be cleaned 4 times a year with a hand to remove fluff accumulation. Metal tools should not be used, and the machine should be cool.
- Water Tank Draining: The water tank must be drained after each drying cycle. If forgotten, the machine will stop, and a warning symbol will flash. The tank can be removed and emptied.
- Condenser Cleaning: For models with a condenser unit, the condenser should be cleaned every 30 drying cycles or once a month. This involves unlocking and pulling out the condenser, cleaning it with pressurized water, and then securely placing it back.
- Water Drain Hose Connection: The dryer can be connected directly to a wastewater drain or washbasin using the supplied hose, eliminating the need to manually empty the water tank.
- Illumination Lamp Replacement: If an illumination lamp is used, its replacement should be carried out by an Authorized Service.
Safety Instructions
The manual emphasizes several safety warnings, including:
- Always have installation and repairs carried out by Authorized Service.
- Never wash the dryer by spraying or pouring water.
- Use only distilled or condensed water for steam programs; do not open the door during steam programs.
- Electrical safety: connect to a grounded outlet, do not use extension cords, ensure power cable is accessible, and replace damaged cables via Authorized Service.
- Product safety: avoid superheating by quickly removing laundry if a program is canceled or power fails; ensure adequate ventilation; do not dry unwashed items or items soiled with flammable substances; do not dry items with rubber foam or metal reinforcements; clean lint filter before/after each load; do not operate without lint filter.
- Child safety: keep children away from the dryer, use child-proof lock, keep packaging materials away from children.
- Installation: install on a stable, level surface in a well-ventilated, dust-free environment; do not cover ventilation grills; ensure no door blocks the loading door; do not lean on the open loading door.
- Mounting over a washing machine: use a fixing device installed by authorized service agent; washing machine cannot be placed on the dryer.
- Transportation: drain all water before moving; carry in upright position or tilted towards the right side.
