Do you have a question about the Beko DV 7220 X and is the answer not in the manual?
This document describes the Beko DV 7220 X Dryer, a tumble dryer designed for domestic use. It provides comprehensive instructions for safe operation, installation, program selection, and maintenance.
The Beko DV 7220 X is a tumble dryer that removes moisture from laundry through a drying cycle. It features various programs tailored to different fabric types and desired dryness levels. The dryer is equipped with a control panel that allows users to select programs, set time delays, and monitor the drying process. It also incorporates safety features such as a child-proof lock and warning indicators for filter cleaning. For models with a sensor, humidity sensors detect the dryness level of the laundry to optimize drying time.
To start, plug in the machine, place laundry inside, and press the "On/Off" button. Then, select the desired program using the program selection knob and press the "Start/Pause/Cancel" button. The dryer should be operated within a temperature range of +5°C to +35°C.
The dryer offers a range of programs:
Programs can achieve different dryness levels:
Laundry can be added or removed after a program starts by pressing "Start/Pause/Cancel" to pause the dryer, opening and closing the door, and then pressing "Start/Pause/Cancel" again. However, adding wet laundry to already drying clothes may result in uneven drying and increased energy consumption. It is recommended to add all laundry before starting the program.
This feature prevents accidental program interruptions. It deactivates the loading door and all buttons except "On/Off" when active. To activate/deactivate, press "Start/Pause/Cancel" and "Cancel audio warning" simultaneously for 3 seconds. The child-proof lock is also deactivated when the machine is restarted via the On/Off button.
To cancel a program, press "Start/Pause/Cancel" for 3 seconds. Warning lights for "Filter cleaning," "Water tank," and "End/Anti-creasing" will illuminate. If canceling while the dryer is hot, activate the ventilation program to cool it down.
The "End/Anti-creasing," "Filter cleaning," and "Water tank" warning lights illuminate. The final step of the drying cycle is a cool-down phase without heat to protect items.
The "Lint Filter" collects lint and fibers during the drying cycle. A warning light indicates when the filter is full. The filter and inner surfaces of the cover should be cleaned before or after each drying process. To clean, open the loading door, remove the cover filter, clean lint and fibers by hand or with a soft cloth, then close and replace the filter. If the filter surface becomes clogged over time, wash it with water and dry it before reuse. The entire inner surface of the cover and door gasket should also be cleaned.
Humidity sensors detect laundry dryness. To clean, open the door, allow the machine to cool, and wipe the metal sensors with a soft cloth dampened with vinegar, then dry them. This should be done 4 times a year. Solvents or harsh cleaning agents should never be used.
The ventilation hose allows exhaust air to be routed outdoors, either through a window or connected to a bathroom air outlet. The hose should be routed directly outdoors with a limited number of elbows to prevent hindering ventilation and water accumulation. The exhaust of humid air into the room is not recommended as it can damage walls and furniture.
