The appliance offers various washing programs tailored to different soiling levels and types of dishes. Key components include upper and lower spray arms for thorough water distribution, a heating element for drying, and baskets for organizing cutlery, plates, and glasses. The dishwasher also features indicators for salt and rinse aid levels, ensuring optimal performance. Hot Air Drying is integrated to ensure dishes are dried efficiently after the wash cycle.

  • Plate Diameter Capacity:
    • Upper basket: 25 cm max.
    • Lower basket: 31 cm max.
  • Water Pressure: Minimum 0.3 bars, maximum 10 bars
  • Water Hardness Settings: 6 levels (from No Lime to High Lime content), adjustable via the Programme Knob.
  • Rinse Aid Dispenser Regulator: 6 levels (1: minimum dose, 6: maximum dose), factory pre-set to level 4.
  • Compliance: Designed, constructed, and distributed in compliance with EC directives (73/23/EC, 89/336/EC, 93/68/EC) and international norms (IEC 436/DIN 44990, EN 50242).

Usage Features

The dishwasher is designed for user-friendly operation with several features to optimize washing and drying.

  • Programme Selection: A Programme Knob allows users to select from various wash programs, including PRE-WASH, RAPID (35°C), ECONOMY (50°C), NORMAL (60°C), and INTENSIVE (70°C). Progress indicator lights (Wash, Rinse Aid, Salt, End) provide visual feedback on the cycle status.
  • Water Hardness Adjustment: Users can determine their local water hardness using a provided test strip and adjust the dishwasher's water softening system accordingly. This setting is crucial for preventing watermarks and optimizing washing effectiveness. The adjustment process involves a specific sequence of button presses and knob turns to enter the setting mode and select the appropriate hardness level.
  • Salt Dispenser: The dishwasher requires special pelletized dishwasher salt to soften hard water. The salt container, located in the lower basket, should be filled immediately before starting a wash program to prevent corrosion. A funnel is provided for easy filling. The salt level indicator light signals when a refill is needed.
  • Detergent Dispenser: The dispenser accommodates powder, gel, or tablet detergents. It has two compartments: a main container (A) for larger loads or dirtier dishes (up to 25cm³) and a smaller container (B) for heavily soiled items (up to 5cm³). The lid (D) clicks shut and opens automatically during the wash cycle. Users are advised to use powder detergent within one to two months of purchase and store it in a cool, dry place.
  • Rinse Aid Dispenser: Rinse aid prevents watermarks and improves drying. The dispenser has an adjustable regulator (C) with six levels to control the dosage. Users can adjust this based on drying results, increasing the dose for water drops or lime spots and reducing it for sticky whitish streaks. The rinse aid level indicator light signals when a refill is needed.
  • Loading the Dishwasher:
    • Dishes should be scraped of excess food before loading.
    • Large and heavily soiled items go in the lower basket, while small, light, or delicate items go in the upper basket.
    • Cutlery should be placed in the cutlery basket, with spoons and forks handles down, and knives handles up to prevent injury. Long cutlery should be placed horizontally on top of the cutlery basket or on racks.
    • Tall, narrow items can be placed in the middle of the racks.
    • Long-stemmed glasses should lean against the basket or racks, not against other dishes, to prevent damage.
    • Saucepans, cups, and glasses should be arranged upside-down.
    • The lower basket features four "folding plate support rods" (1,2,3,4) that can be folded down individually or all at once to create space for larger items like saucepans and bowls.
    • The upper basket's height is adjustable to accommodate taller items. This involves releasing latches, pulling out the basket, engaging different wheels, and reinserting the basket.
  • Starting a Programme:
    • Turn on the water tap.
    • Open the door and ensure spray arms can rotate freely.
    • Add detergent.
    • Close the door.
    • Press the on/off button.
    • Check salt and rinse aid indicator lights and refill if necessary.
    • Select the desired program using the selector knob.
    • Press the start/stop button.
  • Unloading: Dishes should cool for 15-30 minutes after the program ends. Leaving the door ajar can improve drying. Unload the lower rack first, then the upper rack, to prevent water drops from falling onto clean dishes.
  • Interrupting a Programme: If an item needs to be added after a program has started, switch off the dishwasher, wait a few moments, open the door carefully, add the item, then close the door and switch it back on.

Maintenance Features

Regular maintenance is crucial for the dishwasher's longevity and performance.

  • Cleaning Filters: The dishwasher has three filters: main, coarse, and micro filters. These should be checked and cleaned at least once a week. To clean, turn the coarse and micro filter assembly anti-clockwise, lift it, press the two tongues inwards, and pull out the coarse filter. Then, pull off the main filter. All three filters should be cleaned under running tap water with a brush. Reassemble by placing the main filter, then the coarse filter into the micro filter, ensuring marks align, and turning the coarse filter clockwise until it clicks. The dishwasher must not be used without filters.
  • Cleaning Spray Arms: The upper and lower spray arms should be checked regularly for clogged nozzle holes.
    • To clean the upper spray arm, turn the nut anti-clockwise and remove both the nut and the arm. Flush away food particles under running water, then reattach by screwing the nut clockwise until it clicks.
    • To clean the lower spray arm, release the catches, pull it upwards, flush away food particles, and reinsert it into its original position.
  • General Cleaning: The outside of the appliance and the door seal can be cleaned with a neutral detergent and a damp cloth. The control panel should be cleaned with a slightly damp cloth. Abrasive detergents should not be used.
  • Long-term Storage: If the appliance will not be used for a long period, switch it off, turn off the water tap, and leave the door ajar.
  • Troubleshooting Guide: The manual includes a comprehensive troubleshooting guide to address common issues such as spotting/filming, poor cleaning results, scratches on glassware, detergent cakes in the dispenser, chipping/breakage of dishes, and odors. Solutions range from adjusting detergent/rinse aid amounts, checking water pressure, cleaning filters/spray arms, to proper loading techniques.
  • Service and Warranty: Repairs and maintenance should only be carried out by authorized service staff to avoid voiding the warranty. In case of issues not resolved by troubleshooting, users are advised to contact service.
