  The Bella Juicer features a safety system, so it won't start unless fully and correctly assembled. First, ensure the switch is in the OFF (O) position. Check that the blade basket is properly seated. Confirm that both safety locking bars are in their respective locking slots on each side of the unit and that the lid is securely clamped in place. If these conditions are not met, the juicer will not activate.
