PACKING AND TRANSPORT
◊ WIDTH: 79 cm.

• Remove the power hoe from its packing. Fit the two hubs with the dust cover on the cutter shaft.
• Fit the double blades on the cutter shaft. Then insert the discs to make a width of 60 cm, and if necessary insert the third
position blades for a width of 80 cm.
• Ensure that the cutting direction of the cutter blades is correct. There is a righthand and lefthand one for each position.
• Then insert the lateral discs and lock the cutter with the bolts which are part of the equipment , assembled on the cutter.
• When mounting the cutter blades, take care that they are out of phase with each other.
• Fix the spur in its housing, at the rear of the cutter support using the pre-assembled bolt.
• Fix the handles to the handlebar support by using the equipment pre-mounted on the handlebar support.
• Fix the cutter-casing to the handle support and to the handlebar support, using the screws in the bag supplied. This will
provide a 60 cm width protection on the cutter, in accordance with CE regulations.
• In order to make the transport easier and to reduce the room occupied, it’s possible to bend the handle on the motor,
holding it blocked in the toothed part.

SAFETY RULES
• Please read carefully the operation and maintenance manual supplied with the machine.
• Persons under 16 years of age are prohibited from operating the machine.
• The operator is responsible for all damages as the machine is under his control.
• Persons unfamiliar with the machine and have never used it are obliged to read first the operation and maintenance
manual.
• Empty the tank of petrol should the machine be transported.
• Should the machine be left unattended, ensure that it cannot start up again.
• Never work in bare feet or sandals. Wear sturdy shoes and long pants. First inspect the area to be cut and remove
stones, sticks, metal wires and other extraneous objects.
• Before starting the machine, ensure that there is a 5-meter radius of free space around the machine.
• Dry petrol leaks.
• Always add fuel to the tank with the motor off. The supply and/or transfer of fuel must always take place outdoors, away
from flames or heat sources. Do not smoke during this operation.
• Before using the power hoe, the operator must learn how to shut off the motor off quickly, and how to utilize the machine
and the controls correctly.
• Do not operate the motor where carbon monoxide exhaust may accumulate.
• Never disassemble or clean the cutter or other implements with the motor running.
• Caution! Never work on slopes exceeding 50%.
• The manufacturer shall not be held liable for any damages resulting from the failure to comply with these rules.
STARTING AND STOPPING THE POWER HOE
• Before starting the motor, always make a careful check of the following:
• Check that there is fuel in the tank, and add it if necessary (see Fig. 2).
• Check the motor oil level only in models with the HONDA motor. IMPORTANT: MACHINES OUT OF THE FACTORY DO
NOT CONTAIN OIL IN THE MOTOR. Add oil up to the oil level on the dipstick.
• PLEASE REFER TO THE MOTOR OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE MANUAL UNDER THE HEADING "BEFORE START-UP"
• Always start up the machine outdoors.
