SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
• Remove all packaging before using the appliance for the first time.
Keep packaging out of reach of children
• Check that the voltage indicated on the rating label (220-240V)
corresponds with the mains voltage in your home
• DO NOT PROCESS HOT FOODS OR HOT LIQUIDS
• Always place the appliance on a solid, flat, dry surface
• Do not leave the appliance operating while unattended
• If the blades get stuck while processing, unplug the unit and remove the
food that is blocking the blades with a suitable utensil
• Do not overfill the jug. To avoid spilling, do not add ingredients past the
1.5 litre mark
• Do not operate the appliance with an empty jug
• DANGER - SHARP BLADES: KEEP HANDS, HAIR, CLOTHING &
UTENSILS OUT OF THE JUG WHILE IN USE TO REDUCE THE RISK OF
SEVERE INJURY OR DAMAGE TO THE APPLIANCE
• DO NOT use the appliance for hard objects such as bones, shelled nuts
or frozen meats
• Make sure your hands are dry when operating switches or removing
the electrical plug
• To avoid electrical shock or damage to the appliance, keep the
machine base away from water. If the appliance falls into water while
plugged in, do not touch it. Unplug the machine first before attempting
to remove it
• To clean the appliance base, wipe with a damp cloth. Never submerge
the machine base or power cord in water
• Do not operate if any part of the machine or power cord is damaged
• Do not attempt to repair or disassemble the appliance
• To unplug, grip the plug to remove from the wall socket. Never pull on
the power cord to disconnect the plug
• Always use caution when handling the blade attachment
• Do not use if the blades are bent or damaged
• Unplug from the power outlet when not in use
• Do not remove the jug from the base while the appliance is switched on
or in use
• Only use attachments supplied and assemble only as instructed. Do not
use attachments or parts from other products with the appliance
• Only use the appliance for its intended use
• For home use only, not for commercial use
• Not for use by children or uninformed persons
• Keep the appliance out of reach of children
