⚫ When the multimeter working at an effective voltage over 60V in DC or 30V
rms in AC, special care should be taken for there is danger of electric shock.
⚫ Check the functionality of the multimeter before used by checking a known voltage.
⚫ When measuring the current (A) before connecting the multimeter to the electric
circuit. Switch off the current of the electric circuit and make sure the multimeter is
connected in series with the electric circuit.
⚫ Before measuring current, check the multimeter’s fuses and turn off power to the
circuit before connecting the Multimeter to the circuit.
⚫ If the value to be measured is unknown, use the maximum measurement position.
⚫ Disconnect circuit power and discharge all high voltage capacitors before testing
resistance, continuity, diodes.
⚫ When using the test leads, keep your fingers behind the finger guards.
⚫ Do not use or store the multimeter in an environment of high temperature, humidity,
explosive, inflammable and strong magnetic field. The performance of the multimeter
may deteriorate after dampened.
⚫ When servicing the multimeter, use only the same model number or identical
electrical specifications replacement parts.
⚫ Replace the battery as soon as the low battery indicator ( ) appears. With a low
battery, the multimeter might produce false readings that can lead to electric shock
and personal injury.
⚫ Soft cloth and mild detergent should be used to clean the surface of the multimeter
when servicing. No abrasive and solvent should be used to prevent the surface of the
multimeter from corrosion, damage and accident.
⚫ Use this multimeter for indoor use and dry location only.
