Change gear to the
smallest chainring

There are two adjusting screws on the
front derailleur, to be found on the
side of the smallest chainring: H (High
gear) for the largest chainring and L
(Low gear) for the limit stop.
This adjustment is very sensitive.
Consult an expert if your attempts
fail.

rear derailleur, to be found on the
side of the largest sprocket: H (High
gear) for the smallest sprocket and L
(Low gear) for the limit stop.

Check that the derailleur has not
shifted. This can easily happen if the
bicycle falls or simply when parking.
This adjustment is very sensitive.

fail.
A bent derailleur could get into the
spokes and cause a serious damage to
the wheel, frame or other parts. Bent
gear hangers should be replaced
immediately.
