INTENDED USE
In compressor mode, the refrigeration unit is suitable for cooling and freezing food�
The unit is designed for operation on:
a 12 V on-board power socket of a car (e�g� cigarette lighter), boat or motorhome (see volta-
ge specification on the type plate)
on a 100 - 240 V alternating current network
This appliance is intended for household and similar applications, such as
Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
farm holidays, hotels, motels and other residential environments;
bed and breakfast residential environments;
catering and similar applications outside the retail trade
The device is also suitable for camping purposes� The device must not be
exposed to rain�
CAUTION! DANGER TO HEALTH!
If you want to cool medicines, check whether the cooling capacity of the unit meets the requi-
rements of the medicines in question�
Observe the following instructions to avoid contamination of food:
opening the cool box for a longer period of time can lead to a significant increase in the
temperature in the storage compartment
Clean surfaces and accessible drainage systems that come into contact with food regularly
store raw meat and fish in suitable containers so that they do not come into contact with
other food
if the cool box remains empty for a longer period of time, please switch it off� Then clean the
appliance and dry it thoroughly� Open the lid to prevent mould growth�
please make sure that food is packed in bags and liquids in sealable bottles or containers
To avoid contamination of food, please observe the the following instructions:
Prolonged opening of the door can lead to a significant increase in the temperature in the
compartments of the appliance
Regularly clean the surfaces that may come into contact with food and accessible drainage
systems�
Store raw meat and fish in suitable containers in the refrigerator so that they do not come
into contact with or drip on other food�
If the refrigerator is left empty for a longer period of time, switch off the appliance, defrost
it, clean and dry it and leave the door open to prevent mould growth in the appliance�
