NOTE!
For reasons of hygiene, you should clean the interior and exterior of the new cooling unit
with a damp cloth before putting it into operation (see also chapter „Cleaning and care“� The
cooling unit must be kept horizontal� It is recommended that the cooling unit is placed in a
horizontal position for 24 hours before being put into operation for the first time�
A few drops of water can settle inside the cooling unit if it has been cooling for a long time�
This is normal because the moisture in the air condenses to water droplets when the tempe-
rature inside the cooling unit cools down� The cooling unit is not defective� If necessary, wipe
it out with a dry cloth�
COOLING UNIT IN USE
ATTENTION! DANGER OF DAMAGE
Do not switch on the unit immediately after transporting it� This could damage the cooling
system� After transport, leave the unit for at least 30 minutes before switching it on� This will
allow the coolant to collect in the compressor again and the compressor will not run dry
Operate the unit on a single power source only� The simultaneous use of the thermoelectric
cooling system and the compressor is not permitted�
Ensure that only objects or goods that may be cooled or frozen to the selected temperature
are in the cooling unit�
Ensure that drinks or food in glass containers do not cool down too much� Drinks or liquid
foods expand when they are frozen� This can destroy the glass containers
Ensure that the cooling unit is well ventilated so that the heat which is extracted can be
dissipated, otherwise proper operation cannot be guaranteed� In particular, the ventilation
openings must not be covered�
Place the cooling unit on a firm surface�
Connect cooling unit to 12 V or 24 V
Protect the line between the cooling unit and the battery with a fuse (maximum 5 A)�
Connect the 12/24 V connection cable to the cigarette lighter or a 12/24 V socket in the
vehicle�
The cooling unit starts to cool the interior
When you take the cooling unit out of operation:
- Pull out the connector plug�
- Wind the connection cable around the two
