After unpacking your cookware, remove all labels on the cookware. Hand-wash the item
in warm, soapy water with a soft sponge. Rinse thoroughly. Dry completely with a soft
cloth directly after washing.
Don’t clean your cast iron cookware in the dish washer
The Neo cast covered casserole and oval cocotte comes with 2 knobs, one made from
phenolic resin for cooking on a stovetop and another in cast iron for use in the oven.
Make sure you check the knob when used in the oven.
Cooking with your new cook ware
The Neo Cast Iron pans, casseroles and cocottes can be used on any kind of heat
source: gas, electric, vitroceramic, halogen and induction. They’re also suited for use in
the oven.
Check the knob of the covered casseroles and cocottes before placing the cookware in
the oven: make sure the cast iron knob is attached when using in the oven.
Do not use the Neo Cast Iron on an outdoor grill or open re.
Do not use in a microwave oven.
When using in the oven and on the stovetop, the handles and knobs can get hot. Use a
suited cloth, potholders or oven mitts to handle the cookware.
The casserole and pans with enameled cookware can be used in the oven
up to 250 °C / 480 F.
To avoid scratches on the surface of a ceramic or glass stovetop, always lift the
cookware, never slide them across.
Cook on a burner that is approximately similar in base diameter to that of the item you
have selected.
When cooking on gas, adjust the ame so it does not are up the sides of the pan.
Never allow a pan to boil dry. Never let your pan heat up too long.
Cover the complete surface of the base with a liquid, oil or butter.
our pan and casseroles have fast heat transfer so food and oil chare very quickly.
Always cook using low to medium heat.
Only use high heat when the pot is lled with a liquid for boiling your food (like for
instance pasta).
We recommend using bamboo, silicone, nylon or wooden utensils to protect and extend
the life of your cookware.
Never cut food while in the pan as this will damage the surface. Don’t use beaters or
mixers in these items.
Do not drop the pan on the oor, save the pan from dents and protect the enameled
coating from scratches.
On a table or counter, place hot pans and casseroles on a trivet, board or any
protective material.
