Read all information carefully and thoroughly before using this product
Before rst time use:
• After unpacking your cookware, remove all labels on the cookware. Hand-wash the item
in warm, soapy water with a soft sponge. Rinse thoroughly. Dry completely with a soft
cloth directly after washing.
• Don’t clean your cast iron cookware in the dish washer
• The Neo cast covered casserole and oval cocotte comes with 2 knobs, one made from
phenolic resin for cooking on a stovetop and another in cast iron for use in the oven.
Make sure you check the knob when used in the oven.
Cooking with your new cook ware
• The Neo Cast Iron pans, casseroles and cocottes can be used on any kind of heat
source: gas, electric, vitroceramic, halogen and induction. They’re also suited for use in
the oven.
• Check the knob of the covered casseroles and cocottes before placing the cookware in
the oven: make sure the cast iron knob is attached when using in the oven.
• Do not use the Neo Cast Iron on an outdoor grill or open re.
• Do not use in a microwave oven.
• When using in the oven and on the stovetop, the handles and knobs can get hot. Use a
suited cloth, potholders or oven mitts to handle the cookware.
• The casserole and pans with enameled cookware can be used in the oven
up to 250 °C / 480 F.
• To avoid scratches on the surface of a ceramic or glass stovetop, always lift the
cookware, never slide them across.
• Cook on a burner that is approximately similar in base diameter to that of the item you
have selected.
• When cooking on gas, adjust the ame so it does not are up the sides of the pan.
• Never allow a pan to boil dry. Never let your pan heat up too long.
• Cover the complete surface of the base with a liquid, oil or butter.
• our pan and casseroles have fast heat transfer so food and oil chare very quickly.
Always cook using low to medium heat.
• Only use high heat when the pot is lled with a liquid for boiling your food (like for
instance pasta).
• We recommend using bamboo, silicone, nylon or wooden utensils to protect and extend
the life of your cookware.
• Never cut food while in the pan as this will damage the surface. Don’t use beaters or
mixers in these items.
• Do not drop the pan on the oor, save the pan from dents and protect the enameled
coating from scratches.
• On a table or counter, place hot pans and casseroles on a trivet, board or any
protective material.
