PUTTING INTO OPERATION /
START-UP PROCEDURE
Insert a new alkali-manganese battery, type 1.5 V mignon LR6 into the
battery compartment cover (1, back), if necessary, remove the insulator.
Ensure that the polarity is correct as shown in the battery compartment.
Reinsert the battery compartment cover.

AUTOMATIC ADJUSTMENT SEQUENCE:
After inserting the battery, a short alarm signal may be heard while the
hands are moving to 12:00 in fast mode. Following this, the receiver is
switched on. During the reception phase, the hands will stop at the 12:00
position. The entire setting process of the hands to the exact time takes up
to 9 minutes. When inserting the battery, never press and hold the upper
button. When in doubt, please repeat the starting procedure.
TIME ZONE SETTING
With the help of the upper button, you can set the alarm clock to any time
zone in the world.
1. Press and hold this button for at least 6 seconds until a short alarm sound
can be heard, and the time display advances by 1 hour.
2. There is a short alarm sound every time the button is pressed, adjusting
the time by one hour respectively.
3. The adjustment of the time zone is locked again after 10 seconds following
the last pressing of a button. For renewed adjustment please restart at 1.
