Troubleshooting
Problem Remedy
Display does not
switch on
Check polarity of clips. The red clip must be connected to the
positive pole, the black clip must be connected to the
negative pole.
Check good contact between clips and poles.
Battery voltage may be too low (lower than 9 V)
Battery voltage may be too high (higher than 18V)
Check black clip connection. Both contacts must be connected to
the pole.
Check red clip connection. Both contacts must be connected to
the pole.
Battery voltage is too low to perform the test. Recharge the
battery and retry.
Battery voltage or charge circuit voltage is too high.
