If your Best Power UPS's green OPERATING LED is off, the red FAULT LED is on, and you hear a continuous beep, it indicates a few potential issues. First, there might be an output short circuit, in which case you should turn off or unplug the connected equipment. Second, the input voltage could be out of range when the unit is turned on; turn the unit off until acceptable input voltage is restored. Finally, it could indicate a UPS fault.
