Usage Features:
- Electronic Controller: The unit is managed by an electronic controller that displays the current internal temperature. Users can adjust the set temperature, though lowering it does not speed up cooling.
- Automatic Defrost: The refrigerator automatically defrosts as needed. A manual defrost can be initiated by pressing and immediately releasing the "melting" or defrost button. Holding the button too long will shut off the controller.
- Internal Fan Operation: The internal fan runs continuously when the unit is plugged in, stopping only when disconnected from power. The compressor and condenser fan motors activate based on internal cabinet temperature.
- Cabinet Lighting: For glass door models, holding the "SC" button turns the cabinet light on or off.
- Alarm System: The controller features an alarm system that signals various conditions (e.g., high/low air temperature, condenser temperature issues, door open, compressor run time too long, sensor failures) with a flashing icon and specific messages.
