Thank you for selecting one of the DT 200 series professional
udio headphones or headsets. They have been made in
Germany from high-grade materials and assembled under
ringent quality and peormance tes to provide you with
a professional communications tool.
Please take some time to read through this inruction booklet
to give you an idea of the design criterion and some information
on connection, use and maintenance.
Risk of injury
f We would like to point out that an excess of high
volumes and long periods of liening may cause
hearing damage. Hearing defects always conitute
an irreversible impairment of hearing ability.
f If you suer from tinnitus, do not use headphones,
or reduce the volume.
f According to regulations to protect employees
again damages caused by noise and vibrations,
please follow these inructions:

85 dB max. 8 hours
88 dB max. 4 hours
91 dB max. 2 hours
94 dB max. 1 hour
97 dB max. 30 minutes
100 dB max. 15 minutes
f When connecting the headphones, please ensure
that the volume is turned down to minimum. Adju
the volume aer putting on the headphones.
Danger to life
f Headphones draically reduce perception of exter-
nal sounds. Using headphones in road traic can be
potentially dangerous. The user’s hearing mu not
be impaired to the extent that it causes road safety
risks. Please also make sure that you do not use the
headphones in traic as well as within an area of
potentially dangerous machines and tools.
f Fuhermore, avoid using the headphones in
situations where hearing mu not be aected,
especially when crossing a railway crossing or at a
conruction site.
