9. Troubleshooting
Problem Cause Solution
The machine does not
heat up.
The plug is not connect-
ed to the mains power.
Connect the machine to
the mains power.
The machine is not
switched on.
Use the ON button to
switch on the machine.
The machine does not
pour coffee.
The capsule is stuck or
badly positioned.
Unplug the machine
from the power mains
and wait for it to cool
down; lift the lever and
remove the capsule
manually.
Use a utensil to help in
this; never use ngers.
A capsule may have fall-
en into the machine.
Remove the exhaust
capsule compartment
and check.
There is no water in the
tank.
Fill the tank with water.
The piping system is
blocked by limestone.
Carry out a scale remov-
al cycle.
The coffee is cold. The machine has not
completely heated the
water before pouring the
coffee.
Before pouring coffee,
always wait for the cup
symbol in the top part
of the central switch to
turn green.
The cups are cold. Preheat the cups with
a little boiling water,
poured by pressing the
pour switch.
The machine is partly
clogged by limestone.
Carry out a descaling
cycle.
