Fly Creek HV Carbon Tent Body and Fly
FLY CREEK HV CARBON SET UP INSTRUCTIONS
1. Remove contents from stu sack. Spread out the tent body.
2. Assemble the pole. To ensure each pole section is fully seated insert each pole section into
the next by hand, instead of allowing the shock cord to snap them together.
3. Position the assembled pole set on top of the tent body. Match the colors of the pole ends
with the matching colors of the webbing on the tent body.
4. Insert the pole tips into the grommets at the four corners of the tent.
5. Attach all plastic clips on the tent body to the pole structure.
6. Stake out the two cord loops at the head of the tent and the three loops at the foot.
7. Drape the rainy over the tent so that the door on the y lines up with the door on the tent
body.
8. Attach the Velcro tab on the underside of the y to the corresponding pole for the best
stability.
9. Make sure the webbing at the corners of the rainy is completely slackened. Attach the
buckles on the rainy to those on the tent body.
10. Attach the two cord loops at the rear of the y to the stakes that you used for the tent body.
11. Evenly tension the webbing on each corner as needed to keep the rainy taut.
12. Stake out the vestibule then stake out all remaining guylines.
Separate 6” length pole segment included for emergency
eld repair. Slide repair pole over the break to act as a splint.
Secure splint in place with tape.
FAST FLY SET UP INSTRUCTIONS
If you purchase the optional Big Agnes footprint for your tent, it will enable you to pitch a Fast Fly
shelter while leaving the tent body behind. The Fast Fly conguration requires the footprint, tent y,
poles and stakes.
1. Lay the footprint on the ground and stake out. Take note that the front of the footprint is
wider than the rear.
2. Assemble the pole.
3. Position the assembled pole set on top of the footprint and match the colors of the pole ends
with the matching colors of the footprint webbing.
4. Insert the pole tips into the grommets at the four corners of the footprint.
5. Drape the rainy over the pole structure.
6. Attach the Velcro tab on the underside of the y to the corresponding pole for the best
stability.
