Deep Creek Tarp SET UP INSTRUCTIONS

1. Pick a site, look for an open space adequate for your tarp.

2. Pay attention to the wind and weather so the tarp conguration you choose is

optimally positioned to keep out the undesirable elements.

3. Remove contents from carry bag. Spread the tarp out on ground and assemble

the two tarp poles.

4. Stake out the guylines at the front and back corners loosely.

5. Insert the pole tip of one of the poles into the grommet at the corner and

adjust the height.

6. Adjust the tension of the guyline.

7. Go to the opposite side and repeat points 5 and 6 with the other pole.

8. Stake out the rest of the guylines and adjust the tension to keep your tarp taut.

Helpful Hints:

1. Set up is much easier if you have an extra set of hands.

2. Be creative, there are multiple tarp congurations depending on the landscape.

You can use trees, picnic tables, rocks, cars, oars, etc. for anchor points or ad-

ditional high points.

3. Make sure your tarp is taut to prevent water pooling.
