Overview

The BigTimeClocks® Model 150 is a versatile digital wall clock designed for indoor use, though it can be utilized for outdoor events provided it is not exposed to water or rain. This device primarily functions as a time-of-day display, but it also incorporates comprehensive countdown, count-up, stopwatch, and interval timing capabilities.

Function Description:

  • Time of Day: The clock displays time in HH:MM:SS format (hours, minutes, seconds) using 5-inch numerals. Users can switch between 12-hour and 24-hour (military time) formats by pressing the "shift" key on the remote control. The time-of-day display can be accessed at any point by pressing the "Clock" button.
  • Countdown Timer: This function allows users to set a specific time for the clock to count down from. The default display is 99:59:59, or it will show the previously set time. The "RESET" key can be used to clear the last set time. Programs can be saved using F5-F9 keys.
  • Count-Up Timer: The clock can count up from 00:00:00 or a previously set time. Similar to the countdown, the "Reset" key clears the last set time. Programs can be saved using F5-F12 keys.
  • Stopwatch: Activated by pressing F1, the stopwatch function displays 00:00:00. The "Reset" or F1 key clears data when the stopwatch is stopped. The "OK" key starts or pauses the stopwatch.
  • Interval Timer: This mode supports three sequential programs (H1, H2, H3) for interval training. H1 represents the working time, H2 the resting time, and H3 the number of repetitions. The F2 key accesses this function. Programs can be saved using F5-F9 keys.
  • Program Preparation Function: Pressing F3 adds or cancels a 10-second countdown preparation for any Countdown, Count Up, or Interval timing program. When selected, a light on the right of the unit turns on, and a beep sound will occur for the last 3 seconds of preparation (3-2-1- start), even if the overall sound is muted.
  • Auto Repeat Function: When F4 (AUTO REPEAT) is selected, the countdown or count-up program will flash and beep for 6 seconds upon completion before automatically repeating. A light on the right of the unit illuminates when this function is active.
  • Stored Program Access: The clock can store up to 8 programs, which can be a combination of Countdown, Count Up, or Interval Timing. These stored programs can be accessed by pressing the corresponding F5-F12 key.

Important Technical Specifications:

  • Display: 6 digits with 5-inch numerals.

  • Dimensions: 35 inches (width) x 10.5 inches (height) x 1.57 inches (depth).

  • Buzzer Control: The "MUTE" key displays a single digit (0-9) representing the number of beeps at the end of a function. Setting to "0" mutes the sound; a light on the bottom right corner of the clock indicates if sound is muted.
  • Viewing Time of Day During Other Functions: While countdown, count-up, stopwatch, or interval timer functions are in progress, pressing the "SHIFT" key will momentarily display the time of day for 3 seconds, with the background function continuing to run.

Maintenance Features:

  • Power Adapter: Use only the original power adapter supplied with the clock to prevent damage. If a replacement is needed, an identical power specification or an adapter from BigTimeClocks® should be used.

  • Wall Mounting: The clock is designed for wall mounting using screws and keyholes on the rear panel.
  • Tripod Mounting: Can also be mounted onto tripod model #300 (installation manual available online).
