To reduce the risks of fire hazard, electric shock or personal injury, make sure that the
following clauses are followed.
1. Please strictly abide by the instructions in this manual during installation.
2. This electric appliance is not applicable for the people who are not in good health, sense
or mental ability or lack of experience and knowledge (including children), except that they
use such appliance under the monitoring or guidance by the person who is responsible for
their safety. The children should be instructed that this electric appliance cannot be used as
a toy.
3. This electric appliance is only applicable for household use. The settings for ventilation
and cooling and application are only followed the way in this manual: don’t use it in any
other purpose.
4. It is forbidden to use this electric appliance in the following circumstances: environment
filled with blowing dust or explosive substance or extremely high humidity; place near
flammable products or outdoor environment.
5. Don’t insert fingers, pencil or other articles through the window blind during the operation
of electric appliance.
6. Don’t operate this electric appliance except that it is installed properly.
7. If the power line or plug of electric appliance is damaged, immediately stop using. If this
machine is in fault, broken or damaged in any other form, it is recommended to send it to
the authorized service center for inspection and maintenance.
8. Don’t touch this machine with wet hands or feet.
9. If disconnection is needed, it is recommended to hold the plug and pull it out from the
wall socket. Don’t pull out the plug by dragging the power line.
10. Don’t immerse the plug, power line or any parts of the electric appliance into water or
other liquids. Don’t use the electric appliance near water.
11. Don’t place this electric appliance in inversion after water injection.
12. It is recommended to empty the water tank to avoid peculiar smell if the electric
appliance is not in use.
13. Don’t adjust the automatic window blind manually; otherwise its motor may be damaged.
14. Don’t put the electric appliance lean on the wall,curtain or other article since it may
block ventilation.
15. Don’t inject too much water into the water tank ( limit to the MAX marker on the water
level indicator window).
16. When the water in the water tank is below the MIN marker, it is not recommended to
operate this electric appliance with humidification function.
17. Regarding details regarding filling, cleaning and decaling, refer to section <Instructions
for Cleaning and Maintenance>.
18. Unplug the appliance during filling and cleaning.
19. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service
agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
