It is recommended that the Charcoal Cartridge Xenon Trap (#127-318 and
127-319) be replaced once every 12 months. To maximize trap effective-
ness follow these guidelines:
After the patient has completed the washout, do not leave the system
running for more than 10 seconds.
Monitor the lower blower motor. It should be set at a maximum of 50-60
and only increased when a patient needs assistance during
washout.
Change the moisture absorber after every study!
Do not leave the Pulmonex in position #3 when not in use.
