RR. Installing the shift cable
Feed the new shift cable through the twist grip.
Fit the adjusting nut on the shift cable.
Feed the shift cable into the shift sleeve until the nipple of the shift cable
disappears entirely in the twist grip.
Put the cap back in the switch.
Screw in the adjusting nut on the twist grip clockwise as far as the stop, then
turn back 2 whole turns.
Fit the plastic sleeve on the thread of the shift cable so that about half of it is
obscured.
The small clamping ring on the shift cable acts as a stop for the locating sleeve,
and is therefore an aid so that the shift mechanism does not need to be
recalibrated every time the wheel is removed/ installed. A size 1.5 Allen wrench
can be used to slacken the grub screw and move the clamping ring.
