Why is my Bissell CLEANVIEW 1813 not picking up dirt?

If your Bissell Vacuum Cleaner isn't picking up dirt, there are several potential causes. First, make sure the powerfoot is adjusted to the correct height setting. Ensure the hose is firmly attached to the suction opening. Check the hose for cracks or holes and replace it if necessary. Empty the dirt tank if it's full. Also, make sure the dirt tank or upper tank is correctly positioned and locked in place. Check and clean or replace the pre-motor and post-motor filters. Finally, check for clogs in the inner tank, hose, and foot/lower hose.
