How to fix Black & Decker 11BDE-315 when detergent is not dispensing?
    • M
      Michelle ConleyAug 14, 2025
If your Black & Decker Pressure Washer isn't dispensing detergent, several factors could be at play. First, ensure you're using a detergent specifically designed for pressure washers; the label should clearly state its suitability. Avoid using bleach, ammonia, acids, or hot water. Next, check the clear suction tube for disconnections, clogs, or kinks, and reconnect, clean, or replace it as needed. Also, the detergent nozzle might be clogged with debris; clean it according to the instructions in the Maintenance section under the Nozzle paragraph. Finally, make sure the Click-N-Clean spray lance is in the Low Pressure Soap position, following the instructions in the Operation Instructions section under the Using Detergent paragraph.

What to do if Black & Decker Pressure Washer trips the circuit breaker?
    • A
      amber25Aug 17, 2025
If your Black & Decker Pressure Washer is tripping the circuit breaker or blowing fuses, it could be due to a circuit overload. Verify that the circuit is rated at 15 amps or greater and is a dedicated circuit without other appliances drawing power. The issue might be also with the extension cord being too long or having too small a wire gauge. Using extension cords with your pressure washer is not recommended, but if necessary, verify that it meets the minimum requirements listed in the Extension Cord paragraph under the Power Supply & Electrical Info. Lastly, a partially blocked nozzle can cause this issue; clean the nozzle according to the instructions in the Nozzle paragraph under the Maintenance section.

      Yvonne BradleyAug 20, 2025
If your Black & Decker Pressure Washer's spray gun, lance, or high-pressure hose is leaking water, first verify that all components (gun, lance, high pressure hose) are properly connected according to the instructions provided in this manual. Note that a small amount of leakage from the pump is normal. However, if oil or water leakage from the pump is excessive, locate the specific source of the leak and contact customer service.

Why is my Black & Decker 11BDE-315 having low or surging pressure?
    • S
      Sarah LewisAug 27, 2025
If you're experiencing low or surging pressure with your Black & Decker Pressure Washer, or if the motor doesn't stop when you release the spray gun trigger, consider these possible causes. First, make sure the faucet is fully open to ensure maximum water supply. Also, check the garden hose; it should be no more than 50 ft. long for city water or 25 ft. for well water, laid out flat without kinks or leaks, and unwrapped from any reel or hook. Clean the water inlet filter screen if it's clogged. Finally, avoid using extension cords, but if you must, ensure it meets the minimum requirements listed in the Extension Cord paragraph under the Power Supply & Electrical Info.

How to troubleshoot no water coming out of Black & Decker Pressure Washer nozzle?
    • Z
      Zachary HartmanAug 30, 2025
If no water is coming out of the nozzle of your Black & Decker Pressure Washer, the nozzle may be clogged; clean it according to the instructions in the Nozzle paragraph under Maintenance section. Another possible cause is a clogged water inlet filter screen; remove the filter screen from the water inlet and clean it thoroughly, then replace it. Finally, check for kinks in the garden hose or if the hose is wrapped on a storage wheel. Use a maximum garden hose length of 50 ft. (15.2 m) for city water or 25 ft. (7.5 m) for well water, ensure it's laid out flat without kinks or leaks, and unwrap it from any reel or hook.
