Keep the unit clean, check cables, keep fasteners tight, and use only recommended parts for upkeep.
Store the appliance in a dry place and ensure children do not have access to stored appliances.
Fit lower handle parts (9) to upper handle (4) using screws (10), washers (11), and nuts (12).
Insert lower handle ends (5) into mower holes (13) and secure with screws (14).
Secure the mains cable using cable restraints (15) to the lower and upper handles.
The height of cut is adjusted by changing the height of the wheels.
Hold handle with both hands, depress lock-off button, pull on/off switch, then release button.
Place bulk of cable on lawn, switch on, and proceed as shown in diagrams, avoiding mowing towards the cable.
Empty the grass bag when loose grass scatters from beneath the mower. Never use without the bag.
For grass over 10 cm, make two cuts; first at max height, then lower. Mow only dry grass.
Regularly remove grass and dirt from the blade; examine condition at season start and sharpen/replace if blunt or damaged.
Turn appliance on side, grip blade, loosen nut, replace blade, refit washer and nut, tighten securely.
Carefully remove any obstructions from the blade.
Check power cable connections and mains fuses.
