      If your Black & Decker Spotlight shuts down, it might be protecting the battery from overheating due to extended use while operating, charging, or recharging. To resolve this, let the spotlight cool down for about 30 minutes before using it again. If the issue persists, ensure the unit is adequately charged, as a completely discharged battery can also prevent operation. Charge the unit as directed in the manual.

      If the battery/charge status LED indicator is flashing green/red alternatively during charging of your Black & Decker Spotlight, it indicates that the unit might have shut down to protect the battery from overheating after prolonged operation or charging/recharging. To fix this, unplug the AC or DC adapter and let the spotlight cool down for approximately half an hour before you resume charging.

      If the battery/charge status LED indicator does not light up when charging your Black & Decker Spotlight, check the connection to the 12 Volt AC to DC Charging Port or the 12 Volt DC Power and Charging Port. Also, check the connection to the AC or DC power source and confirm that there is a functioning AC or DC current.
