What to do if automatic line feed does not feed line on my Black & Decker ST182320 Trimmer?

If the automatic line feed on your Black & Decker Trimmer isn't working, several factors could be at play. More line feeds when it shortens to approximately 76 mm, so let the line wear past this point. Check if the line is crisscrossed on the spool; if so, unwind and rewind it neatly. Inspect the spool for damage and replace it if needed. Ensure the cutting line protrudes approximately 122 mm from the spool; if not enough line is left, install a new spool. Also, make sure you're using the correct line size (2.00 mm), as incorrect sizes can affect the auto-feed system. Clean the spool and housing carefully, and check if the lever in the spool housing moves freely. Finally, replace the spool into the housing.
