      If your Black & Decker Trimmer is running slowly, ensure the spool housing rotates freely and clean it if necessary. Also, check that the cutting line doesn't extend more than approximately 5-3/8 inches (136mm) from the spool; trim it back to the line trimming blade if it does. If the issue persists, discontinue use and take the tool to a service center.
