If the automatic line feed on your Black & Decker Trimmer isn't working, try these steps: Let the line wear down to approximately 76 mm to see if it feeds then. Remove the spool cap and spool, ensuring the line isn't crisscrossed. If it is, rewind it neatly. Inspect the spool for damage and replace if needed. Pull the cutting line until it extends about 122 mm from the spool. If these steps don't work, clean the spool and housing, ensure you're using the correct 2.00 mm line size, check if the lever in the spool housing moves freely, and rewind the cutting line neatly before replacing the spool.
