workmanship under normal use. Warranty is oered only to the original purchaser. Proof of purchase

is required. Proof of purchase constitutes a dated sales receipt. This warranty is void if the fan(s) have

been subject to abuse such as: being dropped which could result in damage to the fan cabinets, motors,

fan controls, etc. immersion in or exposure to water, exposure to excessive heat, outdoor usage, any use

other than household use, disassembly, repair or alteration by anyone other than an authorized service

provider, use on improper voltage or current, or any use contrary to the user instructions.

Batteries and battery life are not covered in this warranty. No other warranties are expressed or implied.

This document provides comprehensive instructions for the Sunter™ 13-inch Personal Fan, covering its function, usage, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Function Description:

The Sunter™ 13-inch Personal Fan is designed to provide personal cooling. It features multiple speed settings and an oscillation function to distribute air across a wider area. The fan operates by drawing in air and expelling it to create a cooling breeze. It is intended for household use only and is not suitable for commercial or industrial applications. The fan incorporates a polarized plug and an internal fuse for safety, protecting against electrical shock and overload situations.

Usage Features:

The fan is operated via a control knob located on the unit. This knob allows users to turn the fan on or off and select from three distinct fan speeds:

LO (Low Speed): Provides a gentle breeze, suitable for quiet environments or when minimal air circulation is desired.
MED (Medium Speed): Offers a moderate airflow, ideal for general cooling needs.
HI (High Speed): Delivers maximum airflow for rapid cooling or when stronger air circulation is required.

In addition to speed control, the fan includes an Oscillating Selection feature. This function, activated by a separate button, allows the fan head to move from side to side, sweeping air across a wider area. Pressing the button starts the oscillation, and pressing it again stops it, allowing the fan to direct air in a fixed direction.

Safety Precautions for Usage:

Before using the fan, it is crucial to read and understand all instructions to prevent fire, electric shock, and injury.

Always ensure the fan is unplugged before assembly, disassembly, or cleaning.
When disconnecting the fan from the power source, grasp the plug firmly and pull it from the wall outlet; never pull the cord.
The fan should only be used as described in this manual. Any unauthorized use may void the warranty and pose safety risks.
Avoid contact with moving parts of the fan.
Do not operate the fan if the cord or plug is damaged, if it malfunctions, or if it has been dropped or damaged in any way.
Do not use the fan in the presence of explosive or flammable fumes.
Keep the fan and its parts away from open flames, cooking appliances, or other heating sources.
Exercise extreme caution when the fan is used by or near children, or when left operating unattended.
The fan must be used on a dry, level surface.
Do not operate the fan if its housing is removed or damaged.

Polarized Plug Safety:

The fan is equipped with a polarized plug, meaning one blade is wider than the other. This design is a safety feature to reduce the risk of electric shock. The plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet in only one way. If the plug does not fit fully, reverse it and try again. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to alter this safety feature.

Fuse Replacement (User Servicing Instructions):

The fan plug contains a 5 amp fuse, which acts as an overload protection mechanism. If the fan loses power, the fuse may have tripped due to an overload or short-circuit. A spare fuse is provided on the back of the plug.

To disconnect, grasp the plug and pull it from the wall outlet. Do not pull the cord.
Open the fuse cover by sliding it towards the blades.
Carefully remove the old fuse, ensuring it does not break.
Replace the fuse only with a 5A, 125V fuse.
Close the fuse cover by sliding it back into place.
To access and install the spare fuse, refer to the diagrams provided in the manual.

Notice: When replacing the fuse, do not force the slide suddenly or overexert to avoid damage. If you experience difficulty, contact a qualified electrician. Ensure the fuse access cover is closed after replacement.

Maintenance Features:

Proper maintenance ensures the fan's optimum performance and appearance.
