RELEASING STEAM
Your pressure cooker offers three ways to release steam.
Rapid release
Carefully carry the pressure cooker to the sink and place
under the water tap, making sure that the water falls onto
the sides of the lid and not onto the pressure regulator
valve (E).
Manual release valve
Allows steam to escape without transferring the unit to the sink.
1. Lift the manual release valve by inserting a pointed metal
instrument through the ring, such as a metal skewer (F).
Caution: Be careful as the unit is very hot. Wait until the
pot has cooled down.
2. Lift the ring until all the steam is completely released.
The lid will easily open.
Important: The steam must be completely released; otherwise, you
cannot unlock the lid.
Slow release
Remove the cooker off the burner and allow it to stand until the cooker
cools, releasing all the pressure.
Tip: Before removing the lid, check that red locking pin is fully down.
