Freno a pressione
The brakes must always be kept fully effi cient: the bra-
king effect of the brake pressure can be reduced or not be
guaranteed if:
The profi le of the tires is worn
The tires are wet
The pressure of the tire is low
Regularly check and before every ride the pressure of
your wheels !!
Recommendations: standard wheel Ø 600 3.0 bar pres-
sure
Wheel light Ø 600 7.0 bar pressure.
Check that the spokes of the wheels are well pulled.
Warning:
Braking your wheelchair with great caution when you are going back.
This caution should be taken especially when you go back into the slope. Brake sharply to the hand rims or
using the brake levers can cause a reversal of the wheelchair.

The drum brake is activated by the accompanying throu-
gh the brake lever mounted on the push handle.
