Overview of the operation
The following information was compiled to
provide you with an overview of how to op-
erate the menus of the device:
• The most important buttons
for menu operation
• The most important functions
of the audio sources
• The displays of the audio sources
Buttons for menu operation
The device features menus which allow you,
for example, to change the sound settings.
The following buttons are required to oper-
ate the menus:
To call up a menu:
• The MENU/OK button @ always calls
up the User menu at all times from
which you can adjust all the settings,
such as volume presettings and equal is-
er settings.
Note:
You cannot call up the menu if the device
is muted.
To select a menu item:
• You scroll through the menus using the
rocker switch A or ~ @.
• The rocker switch> ® calls up a menu
item.

To change a setting:
• In the menus, the rocker switch A or
V @ is used to change the setting of
a menu item. For example, you can in-
crease (A) or decrease (V) the bass.
This setting is immediately effective and
automatically stored.
You can exit a menu as follows:
• You confirm a setting with the MENU/
OK button @ and go back one higher
menu level.
Text input (e.g. your personal welcome
text) should always be confirmed with
the MENU/OK button @ to save the text
change.
• The ESC button CD returns you to the
display of the active audio source.
Text inputs are not automatically saved.
Pressi ng the ESC button CD cancels the
text input without saving it. All other set-
tings are saved.
• If you do not operate the menus, the dis-
play automatically returns to the display
of the audio source after approx. 8 sec-
onds. Your settings - with the exception
of text inputs - are saved.
