① LC display Display of information including audio source, station,
music track, time, setting options, etc.
② Button/knob with balance control:
Turn: Volume loud/quiet, in the Settings selection menu
Short press: Switching on the car radio, during operation: muting and
pausing playback depending on the audio source, in the menu: Confirm
settings
Long press: to turn off the car radio
Turn of the back control knob: Balance adjustment
③ MENU button:
Short press: To open/close the menu (see SETTINGS | MENU)
Long press: Switching of displayed information depending on the audio
source
④ Telephone handset:
Accept button:
Short press: Answer call/replay last number
Long press: Second function (see section SETTINGS | MENU)
"Disconnect" button
Short press: to end/reject a call
⑤ SRC button:
Short press: Audio source selection: toggles between the available audio
sources.
Some sound sources/memory levels can be deactivated (see SETTINGS
| MENU).
Long press: Station playback function/track playback function (SCAN) of
the current audio source
⑥ Direct dial buttons DAB, FM
Short press: Select a DAB or VHF audio source, pressing repeatedly
changes the memory level (shown on the display).
Some sound sources/memory levels can be deactivated (see SETTINGS
| MENU).
Long press (FM/DAB): FM Travelstore function/search for DAB services
⑦ TA button:
Short press: Switching traffic announcement priority on/off
The function of the TA button can be set to directly select an audio
source, such as USB, IPOD or BT-STREAM. See section SETTINGS | MENU
Long press: Toggles between DAY/NIGHT brightness setting when MAN
mode is active. See section SETTINGS | MENU
⑧ Memory buttons 1-5:
Short press: Call up a stored station, telephone number or, depending on
the selected audio source, functions such as song search (browsing),
repeat function, random playback, directory change
Long press: Store the current radio station/phone number
⑨ Multifunction switch:
Short press: Depending on the audio source, FM/AM search, DAB service
change, USB/Bluetooth® track change, etc.
Long press: Depending on audio source FM/AM manual search, DAB
band search, fast forward or rewind USB
⑩ Hidden USB input: Open the flip cover by pulling lightly from the
bottom by the protruding bottom edge. Connector for USB sticks to play
music
⑪ Microphone: Internal hands-free microphone
⑫ Caps covering the holes for the unlocking tool, see INSTALLATION,
REMOVAL AND CONNECTIONS
⑬ Infrared sensor: Sensor for optional remote control
Based on the original Blaupunkt model HAMBURG SQM 23, the ③ i ④
buttons do not have a backlight/night function. Activate night mode, see
section SETTINGS | MENU.
